The secret life of........

What's more happening than the game itself? behind the scene action. And now with the IPL season almost halfway through, tell me atleast one person who is as eager to watch the matches as compared to the previous year? I believe there are far few. What goes on with a cricketer or the team management was always an inside thing and they have always maintained their privacy that movie celebs can't even dream of. But now the mole in the KKR team (or that's what he/she claims to be!) is exposing it all with the sensational and obvious name, FIPLP ( I haven't given the name in it's entirety coz I don't want that traffic). Everyone in the management, staff and the team are in total fear of what might be revealed that is related to them, am sure it's quite amusing to the person who is actually blogging about this, might be like a mini movie.

But as Shobha De puts it, when film personalities are prepared for the media exposure, it's time for the cricketers also to deal with the same. Afterall, Bollywood and cricket are the two most popular passtimes/fields in the Indian sub-continent.

So what I want to say is that whoever it is, I'm loving his/her writing, so are the thouands of other people. And that person has got some really innovative names for them all, I just couldn't stop smiling as I was reading through. Although, I so wish he/she wouldn't reveal their identity by the end of the tournament(as he claimed he would), I wish they would continue blogging, if not for IPL. Total tp hain yeh blog.

Do visit that blog and see for yourself what I mean by complete entertainment, it's more captivating than the game itself. Do tell me what you think of it
Additionally, let's give a huge round of applause to the wonderful world of blogging! More on that later.

Do come back to tell me your opinion.
Have a good day y'all and an even better weekend.

Microsoft Magic........

So, I was reading this blog today, and I did find out the answers to some questions. Well, the questions are not mine, wait....... let me state my ignorance by adding that I didn't even know such questions existed until I visited Ashwin's blog. I'll let him do the answering and explaining.... Ashwin, I hope you don't mind me linking to your blog.

Also, being the smart guy he is has pointed out to me that Feb and March do always have the same days and dates as long as there is no 29 in Feb. Read more about it here.

I hope you enjoy all the reading......and I will be back with a really amusing post.

4 of the best revelations w.r.t cell phone

The content below was forwarded to me by a friend and I thought I have to have it on my blog. Thank you friend for sending this to me, now I can share it with the world, with your permission though. I am still amazed at thing #2.

Things_You_Probably_Never_Knew_Your_Mobile_Phone_Could_Do:
There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:

1. Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.

2. Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).
Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a mobile phone!'

3. Hidden battery power
Imagine your mobile battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your mobile will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.

4. How to disable a stolen mobile phone?
To check your mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone!: * # 0 6 #,
a 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but atleast you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

Be safe, be alert and be savvy. :)
