This is one interesting piece that was forwarded to me, and I was so impressed I had to put it up on the blog. My fave is the fishes falling. Some awesome Pyrotechnics skill the Japanese and Chinese have.

BOOOO....it's Halloween!
Happy Halloween to all and TGIF to me!
It's been a long and busy week, but I love being busy! I am looking forward to the weekend though. Tonight I will be taking my master for trick or treating, in his costume(the details of which I will reveal next week so as not to ruin the surprise for some). I am so excited for tonight, coz he has now got a little understanding of things around him and am sure he'll enjoy this little outing. Last year he was dressed up as a little Devil in red. I've bought some Halloween candy for the little ghosts and goblins visiting us. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to carve a pumpkin although I really wanted to.
So happy trick or treating everyone, be safe and have a fab weekend!

I don't understand why....
....in social networking sites work related persons are added as friends and in professional networking sites why relatives and personally related friends are added!!! Beats me!
Sometimes it makes me wonder, looking at how many friends some people have, wow that's an awful number of friends to maintain, must be a very popular individual!!! But are they just showing off, trying to boost their ego and image? And then there are some who add just about anyone.......just because they see someone's profile, they want to add them, and they send a message pleading you to add them as your friend! Duh......don't you have better things to do than have some random person as your friend? Kind of changes the definition of friend.
According to Merriam-Webster, a friend is: one attached to another by affection or esteem
I dont have any affection or any kind of esteem for a stranger!
If I've met you even maybe once in life, you are not a friend to me, you are an absolute stranger! Maybe that is why my friend list is so small, and I am so contempt with that. I am more comfortable having people who know me see my profile. So my sole raison d'être on these n/w sites is to reconnect with longlost dosts, as opposed to showing off how many people I know or don't or met somewhere for a brief period, but somehow managed to become my friend.
This is just my avis de la matière and I'm sure all have their own.
Au Revoir and Joyeux réseau (Happy Networking!)!
P.S.: the reason for this blog-post is the article which was floating the web last week ....how an employee, got in troubled waters due to his Facebook status and another article I read which shows whether a social networker is a narcissist. Both interesting reads.
It's not funny
What do these so called terrorists achieve by causing so many deaths and grief to unsuspecting and innocent fellow beings? Please stop this BS, you piece of....!
If you want to be heard, say it aloud like a true warrior and stop sneaking up on innocent lives.
My heart goes out to all those affected by the Assam blasts! How much more can our country take!!

Some reasons and some updates.
I am so not in my mojo.....well that's what would happen if I started reading other blogs. So much so that I am neglecting my blog. Although, I do find it pretty fascinating that so many people are such good at expressing and essaying their mind and playing around with words. I always felt that there is a writer/journo in everyone, and thank God for these blogs, the writer deep within us is exposed to the world....a side not many might have seen or experienced. It really is a wonderful method of bringing out the real 'you'. I like to hear opinions, views, tid-bits, latest fashion, decorating ideas etc....and for an individual like me, I can get my updates on any topic through some of my fave blogs.
Apart from browsing through various blogs, we did celebrate Diwali beautifully. Mom and I made some awesome kurkure(spinach vada, savari) and mithai(shrikhand, malpua, karanji) beginning Sunday up until Monday, then Tuesday(actual Diwali and Lakshmi Puja), we decorated the front yard with rangoli and candles and lights...it was so festive, then the puja (after praying, I feel so much at peace, the feeling is so soothing), oh then mom made some awesome festival food and we devoured as if all of it would soon go out of fashion! Dessert and a round of Rummy(cards) with a few friends up until midnight was a lot of fun.....which may be the reason why I am falling asleep at my desk today, a huge cup of coffee isn't really helping either. The one thing that was missing in the actual spirit of Diwali..... fire crackers!!! Didn't have any.....nevertheless!
